ACCOMMODATIONS IN BOULDER

There are plenty of great hotels, AirBnBs, and VRBOs in Boulder, but we encourage you to make your reservations as soon as possible, as Boulder is a very popular summer tourist destination.

We recommend the St. Julian Hotel at 900 Walnut St., just off the Pearl Street mall in downtown Boulder. We have arranged a special room rate of $399/night, which you can get by requesting “Wien Wedding Block June 21” for the discounted rate.

FROM DIA TO BOULDER

If you rent a car at the Denver airport (DIA), there are two routes to Boulder. We suggest taking the tollway (E470), which bypasses Denver traffic. It’s an easy drive to Boulder on a four lane, 75 mph tollway for most of the way. No mountains, heavy traffic, or difficult terrain.

You can also UBER or Taxi to Boulder. For Uber, you can expect to pay $75 to $100, depending on time of day.

There is also a bus line from DIA to Boulder, operated by the Denver’s bus system, RTD. The express bus AB1 to Boulder runs hourly from the terminal under the Westin Hotel to the downtown Boulder Station. The trip takes about 1 hour and 5 minutes. The Boulder station is ½ mile from the St. Julien – a 10-minute enjoyable walk.

TRANSPORTATION IN AND AROUND BOULDER

Saturday night's celebration is 3 miles from downtown Boulder, a 6-minute drive up a very gradual canyon on a major 2 lane state highway.

The events for out-of-town guests on Friday night and Sunday are all within Boulder, less than 10 minutes away from downtown Boulder.
